Ali has grown up with dogs all her life. Her childhood dog growing up, a Shetland sheep dog, Chelsea was her best friend and companion from the young age of 6 years up until 2004. Chelsea, who had just had her 15 birthday, was unable to function each day and Ali and her father brought Chelsea to the Vet to join her friends over the Rainbow Bridge.

In 2007, Ali and her long time boyfriend Matt adopted their first dog together, Kylie. They found Kylie on

Petfinder.com and went through the organization Petmatchmaker.org who rescue dogs from high kill shelters in the South and bring them up North to find their forever homes.

Ali continues to work with the rescue group Forever Home of New England by doing home visits for potential adopters and helping to answer any question prospective dog owners might have. Ali has been walking dogs since 2004 on her lunch breaks from her office job.
